The food comes really close to best in standard. Probably I would give 4 star to the vegan food they made but I really need to give this place an absolute 5 star to even attempt such a restaurant in place like North Carolina.

When you’re looking for a quick bite without reservations look no further than the Morgan Street Food Hall. All these places look so good! This was our first time to the food hall. Paid parking seem to be the only option, so we parked at secure a spot parking and paid through their online portal. As an aside note make sure that the lot number is the same as the one you’re paying for online.

We allowed the app the tag our car in the parking lot. It’s tracking was wrong but thankfully it was corrected through their customer service some days later. The Morgan food hall was interesting.

The major eating area in the back was ram packed. I barely could find seating. The one that I did fine was littered with small debris and crumbs from food and soiled with stains from beverage spills. He’s the type of guy you just want to hug and say thank you. Nestled in the heart of Downtown Raleigh, Caffe Luna is a mix of old world charm with the contemporary. The wine list was impressive as was the bountiful bread with olive oil and pepper.

The entrees were a feast for the eyes and stomach. My spicy shrimp linguine was perfectly seasoned, the pasta perfectly al dente, and the shrimp perfectly succulent. Finally the dessert. It was perfect as was the evening dining, celebrating, and reminiscing with good friends. Visited here as part of a wedding rehearsal dinner. The restaurant staff did a wonderful job of handling our meal considering there people in attendance.

The decor is nice, stylish but not stuffy. The food was of course from the catering side but I would expect similar dishes appear on the regular menu. Food was all good. And rightfully so, they have some of the best Asian cuisine that I have ever had. The summer rolls, lettuce wraps are my favorite appetizers. The pork belly soup, chicken fried rice, pho, curry dishes are all amazing. They also have interesting and delicious cocktails. This is a must go to in downtown Raleigh. We got the Pad Lao as well but with both dishes being so rice noodle-heavy, we barely put a dent in it. The lettuce wraps were so good for an appetizer, and they gave us a free dessert just because!

My new favorite place. Great atmosphere, fabulous cocktails, and yummy food. The waitstaff was attentive, and tables were sanitized between customers. Compared with other bars and restaurants in town, the prices were reasonable. Definitely will be going back. This place is incredible!

The service was really good. Took only a minute to get seated at 10pm, and we ordered a cheese plate. The cheese was phenomenal: very fluffy and scrumptious. Definitely the highlight of our meal. My partner and I ordered lamb burgers and I got a side of potato salad. Lamb burgers were better than most and the potato salad was perfect. Just the right amount of mayo and vinegar! Fries were well made. So educational and helpful.

Started out with the Chefs Board and then ended with the Lamb Burger – with collard greens – and Firsthand Burger – with fries. So many bourbons to try. He even found me a rye I actually like. We were so pleased with service, atmosphere, and quality of food!

Locally owned and located right on the edge of downtown on W. Morgan St. What a great spot! Reasonable prices and exceptional quality. I got the «Most Loyal» pizza which includes a pesto base, rich cheese, chicken, and a honey drizzle. Pesto and honey is a combo I haven’t tried before, but this pizza makes it work well!

Definitely ordering this again. On top of that, this spot seems to have a nice local feel, with friendly bartenders, and nice regulars. I will be back soon! Wait staff was nice but terrible. Highly recommend ordering food to go. As a waitress-turned-nurse, I completely empathize and personally understand the consequences of the pandemic.

However, that is no excuse for our table of empty glasses to be ignored for 30 minutes. I did a walk through and saw a max of 8 tables, at least two waitresses, numerous other staff. It seems their thing is to walk past tables and ignore raised hands and avoid making eye contact. We finally received attention when we were told we needed to leave by a certain time to make room for another reservation.

I will never go back to sit down because of the less than adequate customer service. Again, the food is so delicious, but would recommend taking it to go because you will likely provide better service to yourself than those who have been hired at the restaurant. Delicious make your own pizza pic included! Truly epic!!! Get the Local Celebrity, it is possibly the best pizza I have ever had. The beer is amazing as well. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you for an amazing meal!

We had a wonderful experience! The cocktails are terrific, we had 5 or 6 between everyone at the table, and the food was delicious. We really enjoyed the fried green tomato burger and the chicken piccata. He gave terrific recommendations, really knew the menu, and was really personable. Went for a Saturday night dinner. I had always enjoyed their food during lunch. The dinner was very good. Scallops and the roasted vegetables were our favorite.

Steak was very tasty and juicy. Pimento Tomatoe appetizer id also recommend. We waited 1 hr for our food to be served. All in all a good experience. Stir has been added to my list of places that has nice ambiance and a sexy vibe.

It was a midday early dinner situation but I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The bar area setting has the spirits sky high. The drinks were Show 2 more. A few years ago, with my then toddler in tow, my first visit to Cowfish in North Hills was a shock to my already weary stimulus system.

The music, TVs, bold decor, giant fish tank, all of it felt a little too much to handle after dealing with my kid all day. Certainly unusual, absolutely great! The Cowfish restaurant has a unique take on sushi and burgers. Located in North Raleigh, it is a new and exciting restaurant with a menu that simply defies comparison.

Our waitress was absolutely amazing. Very attentive. Our cups never went empty and we didn’t have a long wait for food. My son’s burgers were way over cooked and too hard to eat. They did take care of it when we brought it to their attention. Just a shame the kitchen even sent them out like that.

The bathrooms were also not the cleanest. I was there from pm. So at the beginning of the dinner rush. They have a huge outdoor connect four game and corn hole to help pass the time while waiting for a table.

Which is awesome, especially since I had kids with me. Overall a good dining experience and I would come back again if I’m ever in the area.

The food was incredible! I decide to, first time they are, do something simple a burger with sweet potato fries. Although those are very simple dishes I so commonly see restaurants mess them up.

The sweet potato fries were perfect not undercooked not overcooked not over seasons nothing they were perfect. The burger was one of the two best burgers I’ve had at a restaurant in my life! The black truffle cheese I would have loved to have tasted more that was on my burger that is why I even ordered it without any sauce that normally came with that burger but, I realized that it was meant to be a blending of flavors they all compliment each other the roasted shallots the sauteed mushrooms the black truffle cheese and the burger itself.

And for a drink I got a hot tea, a peach herbal tea and that was incredible as well not sure where they got the loose leaf blend from but it was very good. On a passing note, the Burger was grilled to perfection as well. I live 2 hours from the location of this restaurant and was there upon recommendation from a medical professional after a surgical procedure.

I have actually contemplated returning to that area strictly for this restaurant as it was that incredible. I recommend this to everyone and yes it is kid friendly with the kids menu as well. Oh, did I mention the large aquarium inside the restaurant? Lively, creatively decorated spot. We went for lunch and the crowd was very diverse. Definitely kids friendly for both lunch and dinner. Great staff, the owner was visible, talkative and charming.

The food is unique and flavorful. Portions and large and the drinks are creative. You have to try the burgushi – quirky filling, don’t be fooled. All around fun and flavorful experience. We’ll be back to the North Hills location for sure. A classic Raleigh staple located in the historic Five Points neighborhood. Hayes Barton is still locally owned and one of the must eat places in Raleigh — loyal fans flock here for their HUGE and delicious cakes!.

This cafe is a real throwback to a classic diner including photos of old celebrities and world war II soldiers and sailors. A fantastic Cafe that makes great meals! I would highly recommend stopping in, even if it’s only to get cake. I had the tomato pie, and beef stroganoff. The service was incredible, and the meals were great.

The cake is incredible though, I tried the chocolate pecan, lemon blueberry, and banana pudding. Spice things up with Plaza Cafes salad bar and daily cuisine specials that always keep you guessing.

We particularly like the Indian Food on Wednesdays cooked up at this family-owned joined. Plus, there are always good vegetarian options! Looking for something extremely healthy, yet perfectly delicious? A bit of a walk from Fayetteville Street, this raw-foods restaurant makes it easy to savor some house favorite juices like the Smooth Operator Celery, Lemon, Ginger, Kale, Pear, Parsley, Cayenne Garnish or grab and go a Baby Blue Bowl blueberry, banana, avocado, raw honey, coconut milk, golden flax, coconut meat topped with strawberry, blueberry hemp seed, bee pollen, chia seed, and housemade granola.

Bite into a Grown Up Grilled Cheese Kale Pesto, Fontina, White Cheddar, Pepper jelly on toasted sourdough or opt for a Yogurt Bowl granola, bee pollen, honey, coconut chia seed pudding, seasonal fruit for a light lunch. Come hungry to Capital Club 16, located in a building that was originally home to a social and literary club, and now remains as a community restaurant and gathering place for almost 10 years. Here, enjoy American and German-inspired meals like the Local Catch Sandwich Blackened Albemarle Sound Catfish, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and paprika aioli on a brioche bun and house fries and the Hungry Wolf salad Chopped ham, grilled chicken and bacon, Alpine cheese blend, hard-boiled egg, carrots, heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers, and radishes.
